A wonderful shot, indeed... brings me memories of my visit to Fort Point a few years ago... it is fascinating place in all its simplicity. I tried this shot too, but yours looks much better!! Congrats! Carlos Ch.

Thank you all for the comments. MFC - this is the officer's barracks at Fort Point, a civil war era fort built beneath the southern anchor of the Golden Gate Bridge. Mark - this is actually a different image shot the same day as the one I entered in that "other" challenge. hehehe...I was hoping you'd see this version since I had your comments very much in mind as I put together this crop. Thanks -Michael

Yeah, I agree with the others Michael; this is really nice. It makes me want to walk into the picture to see what's at the other end of all those doorways. bottles

Michael, I really like the perfect symmetry of your composition/crop. The doorways seem to simply go on forever. Nice contrast/tones, well taken and presented...& a good idea. Where is this? MFC

Really cool shot - I love the doorway after doorway receding into the distance!

Michael this is SOOO much better cropped this way! (from the more wide version I saw in another challenge). Now the image has great character and the repeating elements (the doorways) are SO much more effective. Great job! Markjay
