Great piece of work. Not to offend anyone else, but I think this is the best one of the bunch here. Tom

I've been looking and looking at this image ever since you first posted it. I've been awestruck by what you did.... with a pepper. I've got a sack full of these things sitting in the refrigerator and haven't been able to think of how I wanted to photograph them that wouldn't be just like everyone else has done it. Then I see this and am blown away. It's so sensual.
First of all, I want to know how you lit this thing. Second, I know you didn't ask for critique and I'm not really giving you one. I just can't help but wonder if you tried this without the two items sitting "outside"? I'm asking, because I think the piece would be just as powerful without them. Maybe moreso, but I'd have to see to know for sure. Just super, Danny! --Nancy

Melanie, if you get stuck in finding that plug in, drop me an email.

Beautiful, surreal image Danny. I never would have recognized it as a pepper either :). This may sound like a stupid question, but how does one get the water /liquid effect in Photoshop? I've seen it before, and have wanted to try it a couple of times...but don't know how to do it. --Melanie
Very surreal image Danny, all the elements work well together as does the lighting. Good comp, I'd have never know that was a pepper if you hadn't said so. -- Chris
Danny: A beautifully surreal image. It continues the trend I've noticed which is having water/ripples as part of the image. The yellow/gold overtones I see as an excellent color choice. The texture/cracks in the pepper contribute enormously to the impact of the image. Nice work! Fremiet
