Thanks, guys. Yes, the guy and girl were looking at me. That's one of the exchanges--an exchange of glances. The telephones are another obvious exchange, plus the sign behind the girl says "currency exchange" in Ukrainian--you can see the abbreviations for various currencies. The American flag on the shirt is a hint at a fourth exchange. The piece of paper stuck with orange tape to the phone booth is yet another exchange--it says "will rent" in Russian. -Colin
