What a profound image, Stephane. Perfect for the challenge as well. I bet alot of companies would like to get their hands on that image for use.

I like this one much better. Nice touch with the eye as well. Very well done and nicely creative. Nothing wrong with the occasional 'dark side' shot as the world's not full of fluffy bunnies and rainbows. I gather you're the knife-weilding apparition?

Thanks again for providing such great tips to guide me in this bizarre creation. Don’t worry, I am not insane… Spring is late this year here in Montreal and I think it is affecting me a little bit ;)
This is the fifth picture version and it is the nearest version of what I had in mind when I asked my daughter Béatrice to point the TV set with her finger. We can discern the right eye and it makes the ghost more frightening, especially because he involves you in the scene by looking at you. You are as in danger as the little girl is.

Stéphane, I've just come back from swimming at the coast so missed your initial Q on STF (http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1009&message=12813531 ).The first pic I immediately thought 'hey - that's the snail from Mr Squiggle' - but I guess that doesn't mean all that much to you. The second shot was definitely outright menacing. The third shot with the eyes is striking - but you can tell he's not going for the person outside the screen. I think I really prefer the 2nd shot (out of all four) because it leaves enough mystery for my mind to fill in the blanks (plus the use of b+w for the apparition is fantastic!). The version you have here I don't find nearly as effective and that's my straight-up critique. Really like the concept. Kudos to you.

Stépahne. I love the simplicity; the composition and the high contrast that produce a very strong visual effect it really evoke a scary movie. Jesus
