The Weather Window*
by mlynn

Just for fun. In this instance I decided to interpret the theme literally.

I took an old frame out on my porch, hung it from the porch beam,
and took some pictures of my front yard through the frame.

I shot a few images with flash to capture the frame details, and several without to get the snow.

There was a breeze blowing, so the frame kept moving, and I had to make some adjustments in post.

Thank you everyone! Stephane, it is just one of several empty frames lying about my house. I only hung it outside long enough to take some pictures through it. --Melanie

I like when you interpret the theme literally… This is creative and visually interesting. What picture or paint is usually standing there? (If you don't mind sharing the secret :).)

I really admire your creativity, Melanie. This is another good example of the current theme. What I find amazing is that even with a moving "target," you were able to get the sharp detail of the frame, AND it is perfectly level.---Deb
