9th (tie) White Frozen Frame
by Deb Kees

Thanks for the input, guys. It is appreciated. I suppose my photographer's eye is still somewhat underdeveloped, because I didn't think the blue was that evident until Stephane mentioned it. So I modified the image a bit. Is this more pleasing to the eye?
OT---Anybody have ideas as to why I can only view the small and medium sizes of an image? I haven't made any changes to my Pbase preferences. It's been this way for about a month.

Katherine, what a brilliant idea! The small thumbnail photo looked so real, how big was this guy? ;~) What a great shot.

Neat idea - the snow makes a nice frame around the paw print!

Stephane, nothing to be sorry about. The first image definitely had a blue cast to it. This image has been modified to take out much of the blue.---Deb

I first saw this image at my job and I think that my monitor is not calibrated because here, at home, the bluish colour is less present and not distractive. Sorry.

hi Deb - i really like your natural frame - very cool. I read the comment about the blue and am kinda undecided - i like the character it gives to the snow but maybe just tad less would be better ~gk

Excellent frame.

Interesting way to treat the theme. The only thing I dislike is the blue tint in the snow…
