A remake of an early stf challenge entry

The mix of colors is a result of blending 2 white balances.
A cold white balance created the blue background (it was
a white table cloth). A warm white balance added richness
to the amber tea - although it had stayed warm-toned
even in the cold version - it just added pop/saturation.

Vey nice deep blue textured backdrop to your shining cup of tea. I like how the label reamins part of the backgound. Good focus and target perspective of the liquidy bag floating in the illumed cup ~Good colour complimentary composition~Irish

Cindy, I really like the contrast in color and texture between the glowing cup of tea and the patterned, lacy background. Neat how you can see the lacy pattern in the bottom of the cup. Well composed..and from a very effective viewpoint. Your lighting of the scene really enhances the whole shot. Nice idea & well taken, Cindy. A "fine" cup of tea. MFC

I remember this -- it was my inspiration for doing a similar kind of tea capture so long ago. I really like your remake, especially the dark lace in the background. Helen
