What a great example of shapes and color. Very pleasing to look at. Great piece of work, Ian. Funny, I did not even notice the bright light reflecti9on until you discussed it here.

A nice sping on the theme. I like the way the hanging stone got framed by the highlighted background.

Ian, I really like the color and overall balance of this scene....the reflective counter really makes a nice "prop". Nice DOF. The translucent lighting/color/crop of the glass is very effective. Nice how the shape of tear drop is so effectively backlit too. The reflected lighting below the drop does not distract to my eyes and seems to fit in the balance...it would probably look good either way, though. Like Irish says, you could try some things and compare. Well seen and captured, Ian. MFC

Ian, You could try to remove it as it would not disturb the nice balance you have achieved[squares circles triangle and teardorop] or thin it out to a finer sliver. It will only increase your knowledge if you play..It also looks fine the way it is. Remember to save this version and then put them side by side and your eye may tell you which one you prefer .its important to exercise ones own intuition as Well as the feedback of others..[ both]know what I mean? We are all learning. Cheers~Irish

Thank you for the great Compliments.....I personally liked the Balance of Geometric shapes and Colors. The reason I chose this picture. Circle, Square, Triangle, and the Teardrop (which was hanging from the Cocktail glass). I find the light under the cocktail glass a little distracting. Should I try to remove it? - still learning, Ian.

Very Intriquing balance, Ian. Are Chrystals hanging on each table..? curious ~ A Moody type of stillness dominates here.. Good juxtaposition of form and content. I Like your off of frame coctail glass, same coloring OOF background, balancing that seemingly weighty pendulum hanging still.. .Neat take~Irish

Nice composition and color, and very Japanese-bar looking :-). Helen
