Mlynn..Love the coloring and contrast..Excellent gritty suface that seems to have rivulets of water running through it under the water..The floating leaf and its layerd shadow really cinch the piece..!Very Nice work..Irish

Melanie, I really like the play of light and shadow here. The glow around the leaf shadow margin is beautiful, and the basin seems to have a wonderful patina. The colorful leaf floating on top is in lovely contrast to the whole. Simple and well done. MFC
