Well, my sweet husband went out and bought me an early Valentine's Day present so I could take pictures tonight, the only time during the week that I would be able to do so. Unfortunately, I had to cut most of them off their stems :-).

Thank you, all, for your comments. There are a lot of ways the picture can be interpreted, all of them valid and several suggested here, but since it was from a Valentine's Day bouquet, I sort of looked at it as representing my husband and myself, and all that goes with that. Helen

That's a lot of detail you've captured Helen. I suspect these are already large flowers and by having them so up close makes it more dramatic. Good idea.
