I am the rider in this picture...sorry I'm not smiling!! You did a great job capturing action and colors in this. This little arena is a hard place to get good shots. Nice job! The horse's name is "Bob" and he is a Gypsy horse imported from England. He is being ridden in "Gypsy" attire.

Nice job panning, Katherine...a beautiful horse/rider combo. I especially like the bouncing hair on the rider...and the way the hair on the horse's feet accentuates the movement. Nice clarity of your subjects against the more blurred background. Well taken...I love the KY Horse Park. MFC

Katherine, this is also a wonderful action capture. The colors are perfect, and I love how the focus is on just the rider and horse.
