Thanks for the comments. Michael, this was a dance convention/competition that I took my daughter to - she didn't compete this year, though. These kids were a group from the dance school she went to last year.

Interesting effect Katherine, with the colour and contrast adding to the dynamic. The almost disembodied feet also seem to keep their own company, existing as virtual associates of their owners. Two relationships for the price of one! :-) - Mike
