Great shot! I think this image is effective in many ways and, I like the fact that the fitgure's shadow is seen on the floor... interestingly, it appears (almost an optical illusion) to the right of the position the person standing in the light. The illusion to me, is that the shadow is cast from a window pane with nobody standing in front of it.
And yes, I understand why it appears this way photographically speaking :-) Markjay
Wonderful shot, Penelope. I love the light play on the floor and on the ornate doors, and the figure (clergy, I guess) in silhouette is soooo mysterious!
