It is simple… First, I put the egg on a sheet of white paper under a window and I used the Sun as light source. The shadows are the limits of the window. I voluntarily under exposed the picture. In PS, I used a +12 contrast and a little S curve to accentuate the black and the white.

Stephane, really a wonderful shot!... can you elaborate on how to get this light settings? What kind of illumination source did you use?
