Simon...... I love this! The blue tones are so beautiful and the composition and "energy" is defintely absorbing. Markjay

Beautiful image, Simon - it just draws me in. And thanks for posting (earlier) the entire painting. Impressively minimalistic! Bev

The vibrations arise from we no not where--NOT SO--we do know for we are drawn towards its source always. Simon, thanks for giving credence to the journey. Keep up the good works--daniel

Simon this is a very stunning eye catching work of art. This for me fulfills the challenge concept totally. Congratulations on achieving what I am struggling to achieve.

Thanks for your kind words, Mike. I've been going through a phase of creating "energy engines" using thick oil paints on canvas. These are intended to amplify ambient energy based on the brush technique used and overall shape of the image. Conceptually; think of the grooves in a record within which rides ambient energy instead of a needle then meld that with a satellite dish that receives and transmits. The energy rides the grooves in the paint to a central point where it's compressed and released outwards. Amplified energy is the result using only oil paint and canvas. That's my theory behind the works... you really need to see them in person to get a feeling for the intent.

Simon, I didn't know that you were a painter; and this is a beautiful piece of abstract art. I like where you placed the center of the "cosmos" within the frame, and I get a real sense of motion/speed here...nice color as well. MFC
