Melanie, I wonder how much energy is being spent around the world on this very task right at this instant :-) This brings me nice memories of a quite extraordinary and moving book: 'Jennie' by Paul Gallico . In case it was originally before your time, then it's compelling reading for anyone with an affinity for cats, and I notice that it's back in print. - Mike
