Thank you everyone. Jerry and Mark, I actually took several shots of the beans, some without the leaf, some with, and at least one with a colored stone. None of the images really pleased me (the tripod was in an awkward position, the lighting wasn't quite right, I didnt' know what I was doing...etc. etc.:); but I finally decided to post this one as I wanted a touch of brighter color. I wasn't quite sure about it either :). Melanie

A very creative pattern you created, Mylnn. I have to say (*) that as much as I like this image, I think the leaf actually takes away from the overall "feel" of the image. Maye a darker / brownish toned leaf would have made me think differently? Or, maybe a ring (finger ring) that was made of natural stone to go with the other elements?
