Mountain Ash in Morning *

This is a repost of the same image with different USM parameteres used. I still see some artifacts that I do not see on the 640 x 480 image in my photoediting software. They are, however, much less apparent in this version than in the first. I have copy/pasted the comments from the first version to this one.

it * is * beautiful! Perhaps the composition wouldn't draw me entirely into it, but that is sooo totally undone by the excellent colours!! This is a rare capture Ann :D and a very good inspiration!

Ann, beautiful heartwarming colour! After pondering on this awhile I think what you're seeing is JPEG artefacts rather than oversharping. I've posted some thoughts on that >here< in the Challenge thread. - Mike
