This statue is at the foot of our main street, State Street, at the entrance to Santa Barbar's Wharf. This is a major tourist location. The statue was sculpted by a local resident, Bud Bottoms, who is the father of the movie actor, Timothy Bottoms. This is one of Santa Barbara's signature landmarks.
