Through a Child's Eyes

When looking at the world through a child's eyes,
We see the beauty, un-marred by disillusionment.
The windows through which we perceive the world are crystal clear,
Not yet clouded by harsh judgements and biased opinions.

Each new day embarked upon becomes an enlightning adventure,
With all of nature bringing its wonders to thrill the watching eye.
A time of learning and discovery of the simplistic things in life,
Taking time to nourish all those feelings and storing them for future recall.

A very good shot. I like especially the expression, angle, focal length selected and the selective toning. The reference is very good too. -Arn

Kevin, I'm not familiar with the work of Julie Grace and I thank you for the introduction. Your image is a fine pairing with the verse. This is one of the most subtle and effective uses of selective color that I've seen. Well done. -Michael
