Now You See Her
Fremiet

by John Potter

by Linda Howard. "If there was one thing in life she knew, it was colors, and she had never seen that particular shade of blue. It was incredible, deeper and darker, richer than any sky has the right to be. Just for today, this perfect day, the haze of atmosphere between heaven and earth had thinned, and she stood closer to the edge of the universe than she ever had before, so close that she felt almost as if she might be sucked into that blue, right away from earth."........

"People marched along the sidewalks not talking, unless it was on their cellphones-and seldom making eye contact...........she ignored the occasional face that was too transparent. It was easy;being New Yorkers, even the ghosts tended to avoid eye contact."

Harry: It might be of interest to you that the distorted windows/background was taken as is through one of the thick glass window panes in our bathroom. The distorted windows are of the house next door. The figures, of course, were not part of that image. John

John, an intriguing and stylish image, are you testing me? I believe the literary reference is to Linda Howard's novel, yes? I like the illusions and swirling movement of the piece with a strong feeling of suspense. Genuinely in the Fremiet style which I have come to relish. -Michael
