Excellent image all the way around Mike. Vibrant color contrast, interesting shapes, and excellent composition. I also envy how clean and nice your pan looks. None of mine look that good :). Melanie (mlynn)

What an eye catcher; I love the green against the dark pan. Great composition and perfectly balanced. Way to go Mike! bottles

A well thought out clinical photo with an interesting composition. Those look like Chernobyl tomatoes to me ;) - Simon Bennett.

Hey Mike ,dont let your wife see this photo...a metal implement near a non stick pan is just asking for trouble.

Mike, I've never tried fried green tomatoes but now I must. Great idea and I like the lighting, you make it sound so easy. Linda L.

Excellent shot of one of my favorite foods. Have to be coated in flour, tho!

Thanks, folks. The lighting was pretty simple. I loosely covered a small halogen desk lamp with a single sheet of paper towel & pointed it slightly away from the skillet...then I curved a piece of white paper around the base of the skillet to reflect incidental light back onto the fork & tomatoes. Nice work, Mike. The green is s nice contrast against the non stick surface and, your composition is superb... as usual. I'm encouraged by the fact that your compositional tastes and mine are keenly similar... could it be I'm picking up all your bad habits? lol

I'd never even heard of Fried Green Tomatoes until I saw the movie a few years ago. I've been both intrigued and put off by the idea of trying them one of these days. ;-) I like the shape of the fork-- it's kind of a primitive shape, causing me to wonder if it's handmade. What kind of lighting did you use for this piece? It's well lit, with no blowouts (I'm always intrigued by that concept). Well done, Mike! --Nancy
