I think the lighting is excellent, showing the surface structure on the upper part of the blade and then using hard direct reflection to emphasise the sharp ness on the lower part. Also a very attractive background, complementing the subject well. Willem
I agree with John re: the detail in the lower blue triangle of light. It blends well with the negative space (also triangles) which draw you to the knife. Nice. - Simon Bennett.
