Love the pun... and love how you've gone outside the box on this. The lighting really adds to things, making this a more sophisticated image than it might have been. Well done. --Nancy

Thanks for your input and kind words, folks! I must admit that the decision to use selective color was done on advice from a friend. John, if I get a chance, I would definitely like to try your suggestion. They sound most intriguing.---Deb

I love it Deb!! Nice composition, perspective, dof....and the color works extremely well. With the majority of area being b and w the tape emerging with color and perspective makes the image strong.

I don't know whether you would be interested, or have the time or inclination, but I'd be curious to see how it would work with the tape as is but two hands coming from opposite directions perpendicular to the tape, maybe even a black hand and a white hand. Problem might be with that idea that your well-placed shading might get messed up....but I'm not sure because the white hand could come from lower left and the black from upperright, slightly offset from each other.....just me rambling....it looks great as is. Very clever and fun, Deb :) I like the simple way you composed and arranged this... and the "drama" of the lighting here. Nice choice for selective coloring too. MFC
