Just breathtaking! This my friend, is what excites me the most about photography.... that we can take in a scene like this, save it for eternity to look back at, and share it with the world around us :-) I'm not going to duplicate the other comments which all echo my critique of this image. Thank you for sharing this! Markjay

Beautiful image with gorgeous colors and a lovely composition. I like the way the trees in the foreground frame the shot. Melanie (mlynn)

Very calming and relaxing colours. The wide view really helps to enhance this feeling. Great job.

Beautiful shot! Almost surreal in it's beauty. Colors are fantastic and the framing of the trees really sets it off.

Cheers Andy, I took a heap of shoots that morning and this is one of the best, I often find it hard when the waves are lapping on the shore and there is a nice lot of rocks just crying out to be scrambled over, not to spend all my time "interacting" with the landscape. BUT, then when the light is at its best I try and pull my self away, step back, and capture in context the "things" in the landscape that grab my imagination, and hope that when others look at the image they are "pulled in" and want to walk the beach and sit on the rocks. So it makes we very happy when you say "this is a photo i can look at for a long time" because it means in some way you are also enjoying the wonder of the morning. (*) I have pushed the beach and rocks as bright as i can from the jpg I started with(levels adjustment layer with a layer mask), RAW- this I look forwards to trying as I have followed your threads on using them for doing 2 exposures and as soon as I get the mac raw converter I will be using this method. Thankyou for the feed back, cheers theVride

wow is this delicious ;-) your composition is wonderful, i just love the framing by the branches. the colors are so rich and warm, this is a photo i can look at for a long time. congrats, a great "wide" landscape. (*) my only suggestion would be "in-post" could you bring up the exposure of the sandy beach just a tad? "at-shoot" next time, try shooting this one in raw, you'll be surprised at the exposure control you have "in-post."
