Dead Tree

Medford, NJ USA

This tree, dark gray against dark green foliage, blends into the background in visible light. It is a far more interesting subject in infrared.
Shot in nightshot mode with Hoya R72 IR filter, ND .6, ND .9, and a polarizer, converted to grayscale.

Hi again LMcIntyre62, I love the whisty clouds in the sky & the sea of white behind the dead tree. I would have tried a different composition (rule of thirds perhaps), but this is still a great image. All the best Luben
