Nice job, Andy. Your thumbnail doesn't do this picture justice. I really like this image.

I get a very wistful feeling from this image. And love the color of the sky and water. Great job! Helen

Yes Andy this is a great image. My favourite part by far is the lights of the city just coming through the fog. They are like the lights from the ghost ship on "Pirates of the Carribean" :-)

Well done

Great interest in this shot. I am glad the city is hazed and not the centre of attention. Makes you work for it.
I am laughing about the "giant mushroom" umbrella. since i read Deb's post, that's all I see now.

BTW is that one of your boys or a candid of someone??

Andy,

What an image you got!

This is really incredible, the color contrast is spectacular, and the subject is also very original.

Andy, I like the color contrast and the simple composition here. I esp like how the lone person "silhouettes" against the misty nightscape...similar to the way the moon, alone, shines high in the sky. The scene feels reflective/meditative to me. MFC

andy, nice capture! I really like the overall softness of this image. On a humorous note, the umbrella(?) at first looked like a giant mushroom! Keep up the great work.---Deb
