Thanks for the comments! Bev - this is Lake Monona. Lake Mendota is on the other side of the isthmus that the capital is on.

You have really mastered the art of night photography. This image together with the ones in the Exhibition gallery is fantastic. The aesthetics of this picture is excellent, the blue color if the sky is as good as it can be, the lights of the city perfectly exposed and the foreground with the little pier create a fantastic composition. Also I like a lot the framing of the image. Thanks for sharing your work, it is an inspiration.
