Thanks Cindy. This is actually a shot of the 10th Century Qutab Minar, situated in New Delhi, India, taken through a huge Archway with intricately carved pillars on the left side. The Qutab Minar is actually the tallest minaret in the world and is made up of sandstone except for the top two stories which are in marble. The minaret originally had 7 stories but the top two were knocked down by lightening many centuries ago. The whole minaret is intricately carved and has wonderful screened balconies and frescoes. The entire complex is full of beautifully carved pillared rooms and courtyards.......Vikas
