This image tries to capture the expression of surprise when we see something that is unbelievable.

I took the image yesterday, using a back light for the silhouette and a front light to illuminate the eye and forehead (desktop lamps) with a black background. The image was processed with photoshop to darken the face in some areas and add a light beam that fits well into the lighter eye and forehead. Image converted to B&W excluding the eye. This is an auto-portrait (my first one ever).
