I don't really know if this fits the intent of the challenge or not, but my friend at work felt it was a modern take on more traditional high key images, so I'm going to be brave and submit it :-).

Helen, lovely flowers - I like, too, the dotty pattern of the stamen on the white and the nice red tinge at the bottom of the blossoms...Bee

Beautiful flower! Spring hasn't gotten here yet. I like the color version better than the bw.
