Only the winningest stf challenge entrant on record...check through some of the last challenges. Bold colors with interesting thematic twists and technical excellence were his hallmarks from my standpoint. Fremiet

Outstanding artistically and well executed! Great low light image and the red tinge gives it even more impact...(*) some would argue that the vivid red in it doesn't qualify for a Low-key approach and I think in greyscale it would look great, too...Bee

A wonderfully artistic image, Lenwoodbluz - and thanks for the details on the shot. Bev

thanks for all your comments. much appreciated. This shot I used my surefire flashlight directly behind the apple... It was about 3 feet behind it. I positioned the apple so you lose sight of the flashlight. Originaly I was gonna just have the apple but when i went to move the apple to the right a bit, I caught a glimpse of my hand in the lcd. I knew exactly what i had to do. Then, after that the shot kinda "took itself"...I'm pretty happy with it. It really helped that i had the surefire flashlight.... the power of the flashlight made the shot...thanks again

Well done, I love the composition, what did you use as a light? flash or hot light? I also love the texture in the hand contrasts well with the gloss of the apple. cheers theVride

Wow Lenwoodbluz what a cool shot! I really like this one; looks like a winner to me. BTW, I removed the frame on my Highlight and Twilight picture..thanks for the suggestion, I think it's better that way. bottles

Hi, this is superb! What a great image, I love the idea and the execution. It could not be better (well maybe without color tone, maybe B&W?). Really a piece of art.
