picky deatils...
The crop would be perfect if the DOF was greater. When first looking at the picture my eye is drawn to the eye further away, which is out of focus. Then I feel that my eye is drawn too far to the left as that's the focus (no pun intended) of your attention.
But then again you say the crop with the ear was distracting....
I still think it's stunning & way better than anything that I could produce.

Thankyou, I agree the crop was the key to this photo for me as well, I got rid of some extra space on the right and a little bit of ear on the left that was a distraction, turn it B&W and wah-la, a very below average pic when it was colour and uncroped is now a photo that I like. cheers theVride
