We saw these wild burros at Red Rock Canyon State Park in Nevada, (in the Mojave Desert, to the west of Las Vegas and east of Death Valley) during our quick trip to Las Vegas to see the PMA show this past weekend. The burros may be "wild" animals, but they were quite tame and accepted carrots from a little girl who offered them (feeding the burros is actually a very big no-no, but it also gave us a great photo op because the burros got very close to the small crowd of people observing them).
