London Movement*
by Luben Solev

This image was taken on Sat 7th Feb at 6:10pm at Big Ben. The trails of light you see in front of it is the passing of a double decker bus. I have two regrets about this shot:

1 - I inadvertently shot in ISO400, so I won't be able to get good prints out of this

2 - Because I was in a hurry, I did not make a second exposure to add in some detail to the otherwise blown-out clock face. I did try to dodge it a bit, but to little avail :-(

What a wonderful image, Luben. You've mentioned some "should-haves", but I think this is hauntingly beautiful - as are your other night images. Bev

The way the building forms an inverted 'L' is just candy for the eyes! The clock face must stay the way it is.. it completes the 'L' and echos the brightness of the movement in the bottom of the frame with an equally striking "still" component. Such a wonderful shot. Wish it was mine. JamieC

Really like this - Don't think the clock face is a problem - actually think the brightness here balances the bright streaks in the bottom of the frame. Steve

Beautifully done, Luben, even with the clock face. Your evening shots are always spectacular. Helen

Luben, I was waiting for you to participate..! ;) This is excellent. Shame about the clock face, but this still rocks! (and it's probably yourself that minds it most :) -Arn
