regarding the frame... it's not a plug-in. but i have made an action that does all my frames / mattes the same way for each different photo size. here's a link that should help you:http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1009&message=7101852

Very nice work Andy. Which plug-in/software did you use for the shadow/frame?

Holy cow, what can I say. That 828 in your hands sure does some amazing colors and details. This is a beautiful shot. Oh yea, great textures too :)

hi guys ... thanks for the wonderful compliments and comments. many are asking about the coloring - this is exactly how i saw this bird, too. it is a really accurate rendition of these awesome colors. this bird was strutting his stuff for about 10 minutes, i know it was this long because it took me twice that time to find my wife and son after i shot a bunch of photos of him :) -- andy

This is just amazing, Andy. Wonderful colors and textures. Did you (the human eye) see the plumage with this color or was this just the way the camera "saw" it? - it seems so unusual to me. Bev

Amazing shot. Great balance and symetry in a rectangular format. Until I read your note about post-processing I thought this was doctored...but no... just an amazing creature. Very nice lighting on this. Bravo! -- LC (autumnsky)
