This is so well done, El-See. I esp like the shadow cast of the milky splash...it adds so much depth here. The color contrast between the milk and berry is as striking as the splash itself. Great shot. MFC

Thanks to each of you for your kind comments; it is very generous of you to write.

johnebones 'did I manually prefocus?' Hummm, I wish I would have thought of that :). Instead I opted for as much light as I could find. I took this outside at high noon on a very bright sunny day and I used fill flash. It was a timing shot. I was hoping to use bracketing but no such luck; remote does not work with bracketing on my camera, *sigh* -- LC

wow. I like the clarity of the splash and shadows. Did you prefocus on the surface of the milk and use a remote to trigger the shutter ? -johnebones

Wow. This is worth all that effort because you got a clean berry and a perfect splash. Wonderful. Ann C

Thanks for your comments Cheryl and Dave

Dave, how many shots did it take?... about 70. I actually did it over a lunch hour, just kept tossing strawberries in milk and clicking the shutter. I think it was good I got the shot when I did, the milk was starting to turn a Pepto Bismo pink and I'm sure it would have lost some of its appeal if I had to continue. <:o)
