Nice lighting and great DOF. I especially like how you showed the "phases" the peanuts go through with their different textures.

Oh darn, I can't believe you took your image a day before mine (in exhibition). This means I will have to remove mine, LOL! Actually, I like this compositon a lot. The blue background really sets this off and gives the composition pop. I also like how you've set it on a diagonal... the diagonal lines lead my eyes through the image. Great mixture of colors and forms. A very pleasing image and tasty looking too! Lovely pic. *Just one VERY minor note: blurring the backround, it seems that you missed a tiny spot below frontmost peanut and left from the second peanut? (these kind of things just cach my eye) -Arn

Hewy, really nice lighting and clear, textural details here. The background texture and color really compliment the peanuts...a lovely "portrait of peanuts". (*)I like this "as is". I'd enjoy experimenting with a smooth-textured background too, but the result may not at all compare to this combination of textures. MFC
