I was going to wait till after, but I'll share. :)
It's a floor mat, like a welcome mat, in my mother's back yard. I guess it is like that for gardening, to get the mud from your shoes. When looked at close up though it almost seems like close cropped grass.
Sean, I really like this textural abstract...esp the large pattern and beautiful color contrast. The lighting/shadows add a lot here too. Could you share exactly what we're looking at? Nice photo. MFC
