Your pics immediately made me feel at home as I have spent a lot of time in the Emigrant Wilderness just north of Yosemite, where there are very similar scenes. Unfortunately that was before I picked up photography :(. Really stunning shots! You make me want to go back there! CindyD

thanks for the comments! this tree was at the top of the yosemite falls hike at yosemite.
it was a tough little hike, but well worth it for the views and the cool trees! -jason
