El-See, you have demonstrated great skill in editing the original of this photo. You have skillfully created something truly beautiful. In my opinion, that skill should add to the point value of this photo and it sure looks like a winner to me! bottles

I love this photo! Great colors, great background, and I love the way the 2nd guy's eye shows between the instruments.

Thanks for your comments. This was taken in Yorktown,Virginia, USA. The fife and drum corps was the opening act to summer concert under the stars with Virginia symphony but the Corps performed in front of a large tent that would later be used by symphony. As to photoshop manipulation...yes, I did change the background. My process is discussed here:http://www.pbase.com/otfchallenge/bkgndchange Thanks again, L. Charette (a.k.a El-See)

El-See, I really like the regimental and synchronized line-up of musicians here. Nice color,clarity, exposure...effective contrast with the blue sky. I also like the perspective... and good placement of the lead musician's head within the composition. Nice photo...where was this taken? MFC
