Royal Blue

by Luben Solev

Hi All,

This image of Tower Bridge in London was taken just after 5pm on Sunday 9th Nov. I used my 717 and a tripod. I used Shay's famous bracketing / stacking / blending tecnique (taking 20 images) to increase the dynamic range and decrease the noise in the image. I used Tungsten white ballance to get the monochromatic colours in the image.

Hope you like it

I just wanted to thank all of you for the kind comments. There is nothing like the recognition of your peers - especially when they are miles better than you are :-)

Could you please add the date to the title or caption - I'm afraid people will miss it down in the comments.

Pretty spectacular image, Luben. You definitely do a great job on night shots -- I need to learn how to do that! Helen

This turned out really well! My bridge shots weren't nearly so nice. :)
