You are looking at the colors of Velvia film. All the 4 images I submitted were shot on Velvia film with a Contax SLR and ... a Zeiss T* coated lens. I scanned the slides on a Minolta Dimage SD III, or whatever it's called. I was actually shocked when the transparencies came back, as the gold-leafed roof was glowing a very bright/iridescent yellow ... and the light was coming purely from the rays of the setting sun. The building was not lighted in any way. I was shooting the sunset with a friend, and when I turned around, this roof seemed like it was on fire!

I don't know what you did to make the color look like this but I like it. Ann C
