3rd Place- stick, stone, man*
by Michael Puff

At sunset today, I walked past this stick and stone on the beach several times. I t might not even have caught my attention if I hadn't had this challenge on my mind. As I was leaving the beach, I noticed a footprint had appeared and it suddenly seemed somehow complete to me.

Michael,
This image is very exciting! So glad the challenge topic was in your mind because you captured a wonderful image incorporating man and nature. The lighting is perfect with its warm glow~ it accentuates the varied textures and creates a more dimensional quality. The arrangement of the elements within the picture work effectively to keep our eyes within the image. They almost form a triangular shape as our eyes travel from the footprint to the stick and then to the rock and back around again. Excellent! Roberta
