The only editing on these photos was to increase saturation to approximate the actual subject, cropping, and unsharp mask. This photo was shot with backlighting, so the sun was shining through the leaves on the far side of the tree. The entire tree was pretty dark red, much like the shaded foreground leaves, but the backlighting made the sunlit leaves look lighter.
