Bev, I saw him hanging from a rafter in the middle of the day, fast asleep. I took a desk lamp and held it up next to him for the first shot, and he didn't even wiggle ! Later, I saw him snapping at bugs, so I used the flash and a faster shutter. I was surprised that he let me get so close. -johnebones

Nice series! The bat definitely looks unhappy. I'm assuming no photographer was injured during this photo op? One of these days I'm going to learn the composite technique.---Deb
