Valerie, I was going to attempt this myself but didn't get to it. I had entered a picture of some wafers in another challenge and the reflective properties make it very difficult to get the right light! You did a great job, and I like the colors of this.

Lovely color and patterns on this wafer, in my humble opinion sharpness does not affect the image too much as the pattern and color are very clear. Reminds me of my previous job with a high-tech company... Whenever I went to the floor to conduct audits I spent lots of time watching pick-and-place machines doing their thing with wafers similar to this one. Nice shot! Carlos Ch.

This is a microprocessor wafer and those would be Pentium chips. I really like the beautiful colors too--I could stare at one of these all day--they're ever changing. ;) I learned a lot about reflection as this is virtually a mirror. I only wish it could have been sharper. Thanks for your comment, Valerie
