Taken on full digital zoom. We get the most spectacular sunsets here, probably due to the high volume of pollution in the air. I've tried every night (and every thing) for the past week and a half to get a "good" shot of this scene from my balcony, but it seems this is the best I can manage, noise and all. Unfortuntately, it seems the sun has shifted in the course of one day out of my range of vision; guess I'll have to wait until next year to shoot it again. It's been interesting, because when we arrived, the sun was setting to the right of the minaret, but now it's moved to where you see it.
