I like the honesty of the image and the lighting on the boat. I also think this picture can be greatly improved without a lot of work. As is, the sky is a problem, making it hard to see the superstructure of the boat and too light and dull to be visually interesting. That could be fixed by isolating the sky and adding clouds in PS or PSE; but there are also composition problems with the photo due to the cutting off the stern, yet not quite having enough frame space ahead of the boat.
My suggestion is to recrop tightly on the bows and wheelhouse of the boat. That would get rid of a lot of distractions and let the real merits of this picture call attention to themselves. Erichocinc.
