Aboriginal Path
by Chris Robbins

Uluru (Ayer's Rock), Australia

Shot at Ayer's Rock (Uluru) in Australia. Uluru is a very sacred place for the local aborigines. During spiritually significant events the aborigines took this path to climb Uluru.

A wonderful place to photograph with beautiful shades of red brought out particularly during sunrise and sunset.

Oooh... I know this spot. I climbed this rock in 1985. This takes me back to that time. Thanks for sharing it. I like your take on this too, looking up the steep path. Ann

Chris, I like the simplicity of this path...just footprints and a simple chain hand rail. Nice contrast between rock and sky. Neat find. Your caption is very informative...thanks. MFC
